8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course

This mandatory entry-level course is required before applying for a New York State Security Guard Registration Card. Students learn the fundamentals of the security profession, including legal powers and limitations, communication skills, emergency procedures, ethics, access control, and basic report writing. This course establishes the foundation for a successful and professional career in security.

8 Hour Annual In-Service Training Course

This required refresher course keeps security guards compliant with New York State regulations. It reinforces essential responsibilities, updates students on changes in laws and procedures, and strengthens knowledge in areas such as emergency response, terrorism awareness, public interaction, and workplace professionalism. Completion ensures continued eligibility to maintain active guard status.

16 Hour On-The-Job Training (OJT) Course

This advanced training builds on the pre-assignment course and must be completed within 90 days of employment. The program provides deeper instruction in access control, patrol techniques, incident response, conflict management, documentation, and workplace safety. Students gain practical knowledge that prepares them to perform effectively in real-world security environments.

Security Computer Operations for Security Professionals

Modern security operations rely heavily on technology. This course introduces students to surveillance systems, access control software, incident reporting platforms, dispatch procedures, and basic cybersecurity awareness. Designed for today’s digital security environment, it prepares guards to operate confidently in control rooms and monitoring centers.

Security Interview Preparation Course

This class helps candidates present themselves professionally and confidently when applying for security positions. Students receive guidance on resume preparation, interview techniques, communication skills, professional appearance, and employer expectations. The goal is to improve hiring success and career advancement opportunities.

GDPR Awareness Training

This course provides an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its impact on organizations that handle personal data. HIPAA Compliance Training

F-01 Fireguard Certification Course

S-12 Standpipe Test Preparation Course

S-13 Standpipe Test Preparation Course

This preparation course supports students seeking certification related to standpipe systems and fire safety procedures. It covers system components, regulatory requirements, inspection standards, maintenance responsibilities, and emergency response coordination to help candidates successfully pass the FDNY exam.
